Sunday Morning Worship
Just as we believe God meets us right where we are, our worship services intend to meet you where you are. Our sanctuary and congregation create a relaxed atmosphere for worship featuring inspired music and engaging preaching. We are handicapped accessible and have assisted hearing devices. We welcome wiggly children—and all who may have difficulty sitting for long periods of time—with ample grace, space, and activities.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. At 1st Congregational, the Communion table is a place where all are worthy and welcomed. Our faith and theology are most fully expressed at the table, as we remember how Jesus broke bread with the disciples who would deny and betray him, the ultimate demonstration of God’s unconditional love and expansive grace.
For those who feel more comfortable worshiping at home, our services are available on Facebook Live and offered in the community, see the service times page for more details.
We place a high value on being together both in the sanctuary and community and everyone is welcome to join us in the Fellowship Hall following worship for coffee and treats.
At First Congregational, when we say, "Whoever you are and wherever your journey finds you, you are welcome here!" we mean it. But don't just take our word for it, come and see for yourself.
